奖项背景：
“Origins Awards”：是美国业界为奖励杰出游戏工作者而设立的，每年进行一次评奖，奖项由Adventure Gaming Arts and Design学会评选并颁发，评选皆作品为之前一年内发行的原创桌上游戏。“Meeples' Choice Award”：每年评选一次，由Spielfrieks讨论小组的所有成员投票评出，旨在颁发给当年最受欢迎的三款游戏。投票在每年的5月进行，参选的游戏必须是在前一年中发行的。
